Practical training for the realities of being a councillor
Being an effective councillor takes more than understanding the constitution. Our workshops help councillors develop the practical skills, confidence and relationships they need to make a difference in their communities.
Drawing on 24 years of elected local government experience, our training uses real examples, discussion and practical techniques rather than theory for theory’s sake. Every session is tailored to the council and can be delivered online or in person.
As well as our off-the-shelf workshops, we can design and deliver bespoke training for councillors. See our facilitation page for some of the work we have done for councils.
